National Institute for Research and Development in Mine Safety and Protection to Explosion – INSEMEX Petroșani proudly announces the 12th International Symposium on Occupational Health and Safety – SESAM 2025.

SESAM 2025 will take place in Brașov, Romania, on October 23rd, 2025. The symposium is organized in collaboration with the University of Petroșani and in partnership with the Romanian Mining Employers' Association – PATROMIN. It will be held under the auspices of the National Authority for Research and the distinguished patronage of the Academy of Technical Sciences of Romania – ASTR.

Following a rigorous peer-review process, 60 of the best accepted and presented research articles will be selected after the event and submitted for open-access publication in a volume of MATEC Web of Conferences, which is indexed in major international databases.
