National Institute for Research and Development in Mine Safety and Protection to Explosion – INSEMEX Petroșani proudly announces the 12th International Symposium on Occupational Health and Safety – SESAM 2025.

SESAM 2025 will take place in Brașov, Romania, on October 23rd, 2025. The symposium is organized in collaboration with the University of Petroșani and in partnership with the Romanian Mining Employers' Association – PATROMIN. It will be held under the auspices of the National Authority for Research and the distinguished patronage of the Academy of Technical Sciences of Romania – ASTR.

Following a rigorous peer-review process, all accepted and presented papers will be published in indexed, open-access proceedings, facilitating their integration into broader international discussions. This ensures high visibility, wide dissemination, and enduring contribution to research aimed at advancing occupational safety, environmental protection, and sustainable resource management.
